Kansas City

Well we have been in Kansas City, Mo. since Friday night. We are staying with a couple that are involved with Nazarene Theological Seminary and having a blast getting to know them. We have been super busy since we arrived. Saturday morning we began Cross Cultural Orientation (CCO) and had orientation from 9am until 5 pm and then at 6 headed to Swope Park in KC for an ethnic festival that happened to be going on. Watched a few Irish and Scottish performances and then came back to the house. We went Sunday morning to the church that is hekd on Campus known as the Blue Hills Community Church of the Nazarene. We had a 365m Orientation Sunday afternoon and a great dinner and fellowship with the other 365m-ers at Dr. Selvidge's home. Today was the remainder of the CCO training and tonight begins Module Classes. From 5:30-9:45pm every evening and from 9-12:30 every morning. We are excited about all that is going to take place while we are in Kansas City.

We have been so blessed with raising funds through Mission Corp that we have received over $25,000 and all the glory belongs to God. We did however learn today that we are not allowed to use those funds for anything that could not be written off unless it was "ministry or business materials". Therefore toiletries and personal hygenie products must be paid for out of our pockets. If you feel God laying it on your heart to possibly help us add to our personal funds to help provide these needs once in Bulgaria we would greatly appreciate although we know that we have ask a lot of you to this point already. The best way to do this is is to mail in your support to 2600 Riley Drive Lenoir City, Tn 37771 and make checks out to either one of us so that we can deposit that into out own personal account.
